- The last post ceremony at the Menin Gate
- Somme Battlefields Guided Tour – Thiepval, Beaumont Hamel, Vimy Ridge & Lochnager Crater
- Tyne Cot Cemetery
- Langemarck German Cemetery
Full details are on the letter which can be downloaded here: BattlefieldsTripLetter2012.
If you wish to reserve a place, please complete and return the form, together with a deposit of £30 by Friday 12th October. There is a limit of 40 places for this trip. No places will be allocated until after the closing date and if the trip is oversubscribed, as we expect, the places will be allocated to 40 students drawn at random on Friday 12th October at 3.15pm. A waiting list will also be drawn up in the same way. If your child is not allocated a place, all cheques and monies will be returned (please note that it is much easier to do this if payment is in the form of a cheque). Please ensure that the form and payment are returned in a sealed envelope, with the trip name (WW1 Battlefields Trip), students name and tutor group marked clearly on the front.
