Term Dates & Event Diary

The Event Diary for 2012 spring & summer terms can be downloaded here. 

The following holidays, INSET days and 1:1 review days have been agreed for the remainder of the current academic year (through to July 2012):

• 7th May (Monday) Bank Holiday

SUMMER HALF TERM Monday 4th June – Friday 8th June (inclusive)

• 10th July (Tuesday) 1:1 day
• 20th July (Friday) Last School Day before the summer holiday
• 23rd July (Monday) INSET (the last day of term before the Summer holiday)

SUMMER HOLIDAYS Tuesday 24th July – Friday 31st August (inclusive)

 

It may be helpful to know that, although the autumn term starts on Monday 3^rd September 2012,  that day will be an INSET day and Tuesday 4^th September will be for new Year 7 students only.  The first full day of school for students who will be in Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 in September will be Wednesday 5^th September.   The full list of dates (including INSET days, 1:1 days etc) will be available later in the term.

On INSET days students are not usually required to attend school.  On 1:1 days (“One to One days”) normal lessons are suspended and students are asked to attend an individual review session with their tutor.
