‘At Cheriton Primary School we firmly believe that the caring, family ethos of our school provides a very special environment in which all children can flourish. Strong relationships between home and school are fundamental in this and we aim to build active partnerships throughout the time that children are with us.
It is our aim to ensure that the character of our school comes through the curriculum and to this end, children will be engaged in the joy of discovery, in solving problems and in developing independence as learners throughout their time with us. From this foundation, the highest standards of achievement can go hand in hand with creativity and enjoyment.’

‘As a Christian School Community, we believe that the ethos of our school should be built on a foundation of core Christian Values. The staff, children and governors have agreed the following four core values that we feel support our school motto which is ‘To prepare children for life’.
We aim to provide irresistible learning that will equip children to live in our diverse and mobile world! We want them to be motivated and inspired to become successful, life-long learners who can apply their learning, make progress and achieve highly. Above all, we aim for children to live happy, safe, healthy and fulfilling lives, to become confident individuals and responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society. We believe that every child has the potential to do these things.’

‘At Preston Candover we aspire for all our children to become confident, caring individuals who have a love of learning. We aim to enable every child to grow intellectually, morally, spiritually and physically within a caring Christian environment.
Our core values of love, hope and justice are underpinned by other values; nurtured by leadership at all levels and explored during assemblies and through an inspirational curriculum. We hope that these values will provide guidance to our children, as they become confident and responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society.
Children flourish at school when the relationships between home and school are established on trust and mutual respect. We seek to build a strong partnership of teachers, parents and governors to ensure the provision of an outstanding education.’

‘Located in the heart of Ropley village, in the county of Hampshire, resides our small (but distinctive) C of E primary school. Our three key values ‘ABC’: Appreciation, Belonging and Compassion stand out in every Ropley learner as they strive for excellence in everything they do. During whole school assemblies nobody is left out, for example participation in role plays, reading from the bible, acting out a story and more!
Ropley pupils play a big part in their learning, with the older children helping the smaller ones progress through the learning stages of which they have already had the experience. Students are taught by their class teachers and a wide range of visitors and guests which provide the children with a good contrast of different and interesting lessons and activities.’

‘Sun Hill Infant School is a very happy place to work, play and learn.
We pride ourselves on being a community of learners. All of the adults who work or volunteer in our school are committed to providing the highest quality of education possible which will meet the interests, abilities and talents of every single one of our pupils.
The children regard themselves as partners in their learning and play a very active role in the life of the school as a whole. They take on responsibilities from the earliest days in school and expect to be asked for their thoughts and opinions on a wide range of topics, either informally in class, or formally through the school council. Please see our Key Information page to read more about our School Mission Statement and Long Term Aims for Sun Hill Infant School.’
