‘Aldworth School is a vibrant learning community with an ethos of ambition and achievement. We aim to prepare our students academically so they are ready to take the ‘next step’ into college. We also support each young person to enable him or her to develop personally in preparation for adult life.
The expectations we have for our young people are summed up in 3 short statements: respect yourself and others, endendour to do your best and achieve your full potential. We believe these character attributes have contributed to the high aspirations our students have for themselves.’

‘Christ the King College is the first and only joint Church of England and Catholic College on the Isle of Wight. It has been formed by the amalgamation of two highly popular and successful schools and offers a Christian based education for its students. The College draws its students from across the Island and provides a unique opportunity to give children continuity in Christian education.
It is our firm belief that the best education combines high standards of academic achievement with strong moral and spiritual guidance. Education should provide opportunities for every individual child to succeed in a variety of ways, preparing young people for a future in which they can thrive in their chosen career paths in addition to becoming responsible, caring citizens. Furthermore, learning should be fun, students should feel happy and safe and every individual should experience success.’

‘There is a very happy atmosphere at TPS: youngsters of every talent and aptitude thrive and blossom. We aim to develop every child’s potential: to build on strengths; to encourage our young people to be well-disciplined, polite, compassionate and confident. The Academy has many strengths: it is large enough to offer a full range of subjects, yet we retain a small school feel through our excellent House system and the informal atmosphere that pervades daily school life. Such an ethos can only be achieved through hard work, excellent relationships and a mindfulness that self-discipline and common sense are at the heart of our successful school.’
