This page holds a range of information useful to our Year 11 parents and students, including exam timetables, revision sessions, study leave arrangements, the Year 11 Ball and results day. It will be updated as the year progresses.
GCSE examination results day is on Thursday 24th August 2017 and AS examination results will be available on Thursday 17th August 2017. Please see below the arrangements for results day:
If you are collecting your results in person:
- AS results: Thursday 17th August. Results can be collected in person between 9.30 – 10.30am from the main School Office (Reception).
- GCSE Results: Thursday 24th August. Results can be collected in person between 9.30 – 11.30am from the Cafe (new canteen extension from the Main Hall.)
What to do if you will not be collecting your results in person:
- You can appoint someone to collect your results by proxy. You then need to do two things: before results day, you need to write to the Examinations Officer, Mrs Gee, telling her the name of the person who will be collecting your results. You can do this by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by letter sent/handed into the school office. You also need to give a signed written note to the person who will be collecting your results and they must bring this with them to show us on the day. Suggested wording for the letter would be “I, John Smith, appoint Jane Jones to collect my results for me on August 24th 2016” and it should be signed by you.
- If you can be patient, we will send you the results by post – we will post them on results day by first class post.
