On Friday 29th April Perins students who previously took part in a foreign language Spelling Bee, participated in an online results event.
We listened to an introductory welcome speech by the Mexican ambassador to the United Kingdom, Josefa González-Blanco, and a ‘Why Study Languages?’ talk by Dr Jane Lavery, lecturer at Southampton University.
The Regional Winners were then announced and Noah H in Year 7 has made it into the finals!! He came 4th in the South East and he will be going to Cambridge to represent Perins School at the end of June.
