Sports News 12th October

Sports Clubs

Attendance has been superb at the vast majority of sports clubs this term, however, we are eager to recruit some more hockey players (Wednesdays after school) and some more Year 7 basketballers (Tuesday lunch times).

Fitness Fever and girls rugby will not run this Friday 14th after school due to a trial GCSE PE moderation. Running club and martial arts will go ahead as normal.

The club time table will resume on Monday 31 Oct.

PE Kit / Participation in PE

The vast majority of students have worn immaculate PE kit this term – thank you for your support with this. Please ensure that all garments are NAVY blue (with the exception of the white polo shirt) and please ensure that a skort or shorts are brought in to be worn over leggings.

We have been receiving an unusually high number of notes excusing students from lessons recently. We can easily adapt activities to reduce the exertion levels of mildly unwell students and can support students recovering from injury with rehabilitation exercises. Please only write notes to excuse you child from PE if you don’t think such modified activity might be possible.
