About Perins

Having been a standalone Academy since 2011, Perins School converted in September 2017 to become part of a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) with Sun Hill Junior School – more information can be found in The Perins MAT section of the website.

Perins School is a high-performing, academy school for children aged 11 to 16 years, based in the Hampshire market town of Alresford. The school’s rural local means we attract students from a wide catchment area, and our reputation means we attract many students from beyond this.

At Perins we are committed to providing a rounded and rich educational experience for all of our students, with the opportunity to excel. While examination results are important, our ethos focuses on making sure every student has the opportunity to progress and develop at their own pace, preparing them for their future lives.

Perins School is renowned for its sporting excellence, its pioneering use of e-learning and its outstanding achievements in the Creative Arts.
