Wearing a school uniform is fundamental at Perins, ensuring all students are recognisable and giving a strong sense of identity. A uniform also means students don’t have to worry about peer pressure when it comes to the latest trend.
All parents are expected to provide school uniform and comply with the uniform regulations. Please note that on all issues relating to uniform the judgement of the school is final.
School uniform, including ties and blazer badges, can be ordered online on The Direct Clothing Company website, where the delivery option will be a choice of either home delivery (£3.99) or to school (free). If delivery to school is chosen, this should be available to collect from the School Office up to three working days after placing the order.
The School Office holds samples of school uniform for students to try on for sizing, including the new Perins skirt, which all girls need to be wearing by September 2019. When ordering the new skirt on The Direct Clothing Company website please select ‘Girls Uniform’ to find the skirt options.
In order to assist with purchasing the correct skirt we are holding two further trying on evenings on Monday 20th May 7-8pm and Wednesday 19th June 3:30-4:40pm
Please note that the school does not financially gain from the uniform sales from external suppliers. The uniform is bought from the supplier and set at their prices.
Alternatively, please check the Friends of Perins online shop, which stocks a wide range of second hand uniform for sale, and the profits of which go to Friends of Perins and help support the school. We would be very grateful for any donations of current Perins School uniform that you no longer need, and these can be dropped off at Reception.

Over the course of each term we accumulate a vast amount of lost property. The school will hold this centrally in Reception and if the item is named we will email the student to let them know it has been found, asking them to collect it. Unnamed items are also stored but these are cleared out once a term – a message is put in the Daily Bulletin to encourage students to check lost property in advance of this. Lockers are available to hire which provides additional storage: please contact the Reception for more details.
Please could you ensure you name all items including bags, shoes and coats, as this significantly increases the chance of us reuniting lost items with their owner!
Please note that lost property is cleared out once a term and unnamed uniform will be given to Friends of Perins. Second hand uniform can be ordered via the Friends of Perins online shop.
