Students at Perins students are encouraged to participate in a variety of enrichment activities throughout their time at school.

The annual Arts Festival is a week-long, cross-departmental programme allowing all students to engage in wide variety of arts activities including music workshops, drama workshops and visits by professional artists. STEM week is a national programme that invovles students in exciting science, technology, engineering and maths projects.

Every two years Perins School hosts an all-school theatrical production, creating a high quality stage event for public performances. In 2011 the students wow the audience with a production of Oliver! and in 2013 their staging of Les Miserables was a staggering success, winning awards and nominations.

Perins School is a ‘open’ centre of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) scheme.
