In preparation for Results Day on 20th August, we’re making sure we are here to support you, even though you’re off site.
We will email results as near to 9:00am as possible and you should have had instructions about how to make sure your email account is working and accessible. Login to office.com using your Perins username and password and open Outlook
On the day, there will be a team available to take calls if you feel you need some emotional support or ‘what next’ guidance. Call if you need to. If you have a technical or process query about any grade you’ve received, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will help you as soon as they can.
A number of key processes are different this year, for example there are no reviews of marking or appeals to the examination boards. You do however have rights and the opportunity to sit exams should you wish. More details of how you could apply to do that will be issued after the results are published.
There a lot of resources prepared by the exams bodies and we recommend you have a look at these before the 20th August:
Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) are the overall body responsible for exams. They have put together a comprehensive guide with a video explaining the differences for 2020
The exam board OCR have produced a useful guide on how a school’s marks will be looked at in the context of all other schools across the country.
The National Careers Service are offering exam support from from 13th August until Friday 28th August. They have provided some useful resources (below):
