Athletics
Sixty Perins students participated in the first two athletics fixtures of term, the standout news from these events is that the Year 9 boys track team have qualified for the semi-finals of the Hampshire Track Cup. Please note that students wishing to compete in the many fixtures organised for this term must attend Wednesday after school training sessions on a regular basis.
Diving
Bryn J in Year 11 (photo below) competed at the Bergen Open in Norway this past week, competing against divers from all over Europe. In the synchro events on 3m Bryn & his partner took bronze and on platform they took gold. In the individual events he obtained a PB on both 3m and platform (7.5m & 10m). He finished 5th in both 1m and 3m and won the platform improving his PB by 88 points.
Tennis
This term’s tennis fixtures have been confirmed. They can be found on our website here. Please note that students must attend after school tennis club on a regular basis to be considered for these matches (Mon – Y7/8, Wed – Y9/10, Thu – all years).
