Year 11 Information

This page holds a range of information useful to our Year 11 parents and students, including exam timetables, revision sessions, the Year 11 ball and results day.  It will be updated as the year progresses.

Year 11 GCSE trial examination period is a valuable opportunity for the students to become comfortable with the process and ensure they are ready and relaxed for the exams in the summer.

**GCSE Exams 2020**

The summer 2020 GCSE exams have been cancelled, please see the announcement from the Department for Education below:

Contingency Day

Wednesday 24th June will be a ‘contingency day’ for all exam boards in the UK.

In line with Ofqual’s exam system contingency plan, this is an additional day at the end of the exam period.  It will only be used in the event of major local or national disruption to summer 2020 exams, in which case it is possible that timetable dates could be affected up to and including the contingency day.  Schools should remind students that they will need to make sure that they are available up to and including 24th June 2020.
