Wellbeing Garden Update

Our Thursday Gardening and Re-wilding Club have been working hard this term, and the Wellbeing Garden is now flourishing with life!
We’re currently growing a fantastic variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs, including onions, garlic, potatoes, strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, squash, peas, lettuce and an array of herbs. We've also planted sweet peas and a range of beautiful flowers, which are proving popular with local pollinators!
As we move into the second half of term, we’re hoping for more fine weather so we can make the most of the space for some outdoor classroom opportunities.
We're also pleased to share that the school now has two large compost bins fully up and running. Special thanks go to Cathy Swann for her support and to Kevin Bryan for fitting them with rat-proof collars to keep everything secure.
A huge thank you to everyone who has kindly donated supplies; your generosity has helped us keep the garden growing beautifully.
