Interested in the Ancient World? Join the Winchester Greek Club

Perins students in Year 11 with a passion for history, language, or mythology are invited to join the Winchester Greek Club. A free after-school club where you can learn Classical Greek and explore the fascinating world of ancient Greece.

No prior knowledge of Greek is needed! The club offers the chance to work towards the Intermediate Certificate in Classical Greek in the first year, with the option to continue towards GCSE in the second year. Classes take place at Winchester College and include fun opportunities to explore ancient Greek civilisation, visit the College’s museum collections, and take part in exciting trips and talks.

Sessions: Tuesdays (4:30–5:30 pm) during term time, starting with taster sessions from Tuesday 9th September.
