Year 10 Girls Celebrate a Standout Football Season

We’re incredibly proud of our Year 10 students who play for the Alresford Town Youth Football Club U15 Girls team, after what has been a truly fantastic season!

The team, which includes Ruby M, Sophie B, Emmie W, Izzy C, Hannah W, Poppy A, Grace H, and Jess W, finished 2nd in their Hampshire Youth division, going undefeated at home all season—a brilliant achievement in itself.

Their hard work, determination, and team spirit were also on full display as they reached the final of the Hampshire Girls Youth U15’s Trophy, narrowly missing out on victory after a gripping 3–3 draw ended in a tense penalty shoot-out, with the opposition equalising in the final seconds of the game.

To cap it all off, at the weekend’s club presentations, the team was awarded the coveted ‘Team of the Season’ award by Alresford Town Youth Football Club.

A huge congratulations to all the girls—you’ve done Perins proud and been absolutely amazing throughout the season.
