We’re incredibly proud of our Year 10 students, who are completing their Perins Coaching Award assessments this half-term. Over the course of the academic year, students have been working hard in their Core PE lessons—planning, preparing, and refining coaching sessions as part of this exciting initiative.

As part of the assessment, students have had the opportunity to lead practical sessions at Sun Hill Junior School, putting their coaching skills into action with younger pupils. The results have been brilliant, with some fantastic sessions delivered and overwhelmingly positive feedback from both Sun Hill staff and students.

This is a fantastic example of how leadership, confidence, and teamwork are developed through sport—and how our students can have a real and lasting impact on the wider community.

Well done to all of our Year 10 coaches—you’ve shown great commitment and professionalism throughout, and we look forward to seeing even more outstanding sessions in the weeks to come.
