Ned Crowned English Schools U17 Javelin Champion

We are incredibly proud to share that Ned S (Year 11) delivered an outstanding performance at this year’s English Schools Athletics Championships, marking his third consecutive appearance at the event.

Competing in the U17 Boys’ Javelin, Ned achieved a phenomenal throw of 62 metres, beating his previous personal best by an impressive 5 metres. This exceptional result secured him first place and the prestigious title of English Schools U17 Javelin Champion.

As the newly crowned national champion, Ned will go on to represent England next weekend in competition against athletes from Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
