Perins Taster Session Leads to Gold for Aspiring Archer Freben

We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate the success of one of our students, Freben, who recently won a gold medal in archery! This incredible achievement is a testament to his dedication and passion—and we’re especially proud to have played a small part in the beginning of his journey.

It was during a taster session organised by Perins in 2024 that Freben first picked up a bow and discovered a love for the sport. That initial experience lit a spark, and since then, he has committed himself to developing his skills and pursuing the discipline with focus and determination.

This is a brilliant example of how offering our students a wide range of opportunities can open unexpected doors and inspire long-term passions. We are so pleased to hear that Freben will now be joining a local archery club to continue honing his skills—and no doubt, this gold medal will be the first of many.
