Student attendance at summer sports clubs has been excellent during the first two days of the new term, please try to encourage your children to attend at least one club each week. The timetable can be found here on the school website. Please note that mountain bike club will not run until announced.

Cricket

We would like to arrange an opportunity for our committed cricket club attendees to watch a 20/20 match at the Ageas Bowl. This outing will take place during the evening of Thursday 9th June. To register interest for this trip, please complete this online form.

Many Perins students have performed impressively over the Easter Holiday, the highlights that we are aware of are below:

Biathle

Congratulations to Sophie Y (Y10), Rory S (Y8) and Alexis H (Y8) who finished 14th, 7th and 2nd at the opening event of the British Biathle Series in Cheltenham. Alexis qualified to represent the GB team at the Europeans in Athens for both the individual and mixed relays races. Rory has also qualified as a reserve.

Diving

Congratulations to Bryn J (Y11- pictured below) for an outstanding series of performances at the British Junior Diving Championships. Bryn finished 6th in the 1m, 14th in the 3m, 7th in the platform and won the Platform Synchro Event!

Hockey 

Congratulations to Alexis H who captained the Hampshire U13 Girls Hockey team to victory in matches against Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, London South and Surrey. 

Laser Run

Congratulations to Alexis H (Y8) who competed at the British Laser Run, in Edinburgh. She came 7th and qualified for this year’s World and European Championships.

Rugby

Congratulations to Joe W and Owen B (pictured below) in Year 11 who played for London Irish in a comprehensive victory over Saracens at the Stonex Stadium.

Synchronised Swimming

Congratulations to former student, Charlie Razzell, who won 5 gold medals at the National Championships and has been selected to represent Great Britain at the Junior European Championships in Spain in June.
