Alexis H and Rory S recently competed in the Modern Pentathlon European Championships and were delighted to come home with 2 gold and bronze medal between them. Competing in biathle, triathle and laser run; combined races variously involving combinations of running, swimming and laser shooting, they did themselves and their team proud. Alexis and Rory thoroughly enjoyed being part of a team drawn from around the country as well as meeting new people and interacting (and exchanging swim caps) with competitors from other nations. It has been such an incredible experience and education and they have made some great memories. Both Alexis and Rory are competing in the World Championships in Madeira during half term
Alexis qualified for the biathle, triathle, laser run and biathle relay.
Biathle – 4th
Triathle – 4th and won the triathle Team Gold medal for GB
Laser Run – 8th
Biathle Relay – 2nd and bronze medal for Team GB
This was Rory’s first international competition. He qualified for the biathle and triathle and impressively beat his GB qualification positions in both races whilst in Greece.
