#BeeWell Programme

Perins School is pleased to announce that we have signed up for the #BeeWell programme for 2023-2024. This programme is youth-centred and is designed to ensure that our student’s well-being becomes a priority. The programme surveys the well-being of students in secondary schools across Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton annually and aims to bring about positive change in the area’s communities as a result. #Beewell seeks to create the condition for all our young people to thrive by listening to young people’s voices, acting together for change and Celebrating young people’s wellbeing.

By participating in this programme, Perins School will receive feedback that will provide us with insights into the strengths and needs of our students, with the ability to explore trends by different characteristics, like gender and free school meal eligibility. For the initial intake, the current year 7 (going into year 8 for 2023-24) and year 9 cohorts (going into Year 10 for 2023-24) will be signed up to this programme, with the hope of expanding this in time.

Please see the attached/linked Parent and Carer Information Sheet and an Opt-Out form should you not wish your child to participate in this programme.
