STEM Club Tuesdays

Can you survive a Zombie apocalypse?

Join the science departments’ new Year 8 STEM programme and investigate how STEM can help you survive a zombie apocalypse – from making zombie detectors to keep them out, to communicating with other survivors using code.

The STEM club is a fantastic opportunity for students to increase their knowledge and to promote their love of learning and science. The club will run every Tuesday to cover biology, physics, and chemistry experiments.

Start date: 17th October 2023
Start time: 3:20 pm
Finish time: 4:00 pm (Students must make their own arrangements to get home)
Venue: Nightingale block, (N 5)
This is a drop-in club, no signing up is required.

The club will run on a first come first serve basis. If the club is oversubscribed, students names will be noted and they will be invited to attend in the next term. There is no charge to students for these activities. The students are expected to maintain high standards of behaviour and to follow instructions at all times.
