We’re reaching out to our wonderful Perins community to ask for your support with our Wellbeing Garden. As part of our ongoing work to make this a calming and nurturing space for students, we’re seeking donations of compost, sleepers, cuttings, and small plants.

Inspired by a fantastic suggestion from one of our students, we’re excited to introduce a new feature: a dedicated garden bed for each of our school houses. Each area will be planted with fruits, vegetables, or flowers in the colour of its house, creating a vibrant and meaningful space.

This project will enhance the variety of house events and competitions, while also giving students the chance to work together to grow something beautiful and unique.

We’re looking for donations of:

Bags of compost
Wooden sleepers for raised beds
Cuttings and seedlings
Colour-themed plants for each house, please see examples below:

Ventus (Yellow): sunflowers, yellow courgettes, marigolds
Ignis (Red/Orange): tomatoes, nasturtiums, red peppers
Terra (Green): lettuce, kale, herbs
Aqua (Blue/Purple): lavender, purple cabbage, violets

Whether you have a single plant or a carload of compost, every little helps. Donations can be dropped off at the school reception, or please contact us to discuss what you can contribute.

Let’s grow a garden that reflects the heart and creativity of Perins.
